Yair Klinger composed a moving cantata inspired by Dudu Barak’s book: "Poland, Between Splendor and Ashes."
The work evolved into a musical-theatrical performance — a poignant journey between memory and renewal — produced and directed by Klinger himself.
Performed by the “HaRa’ananim” Ensemble, soprano Sigal Vardi, and pianist Gilad Shapira, the production blends poetry, music, and emotion into a powerful reflection on the lost world of Polish Jewry after the Holocaust.
The performance was presented several times to deeply moved audiences, resonating with themes of loss, beauty, and hope.
